Eni Mini Miny Mo…choosing the right e-cig?

Posted August 8th, 2011 in News by Steve

In Australia, a land where we have to shorten words and give nicknames to everything like “brekkie’ for breakfast and “woollies” for Woolworths, ecigarettes or electronic cigarettes are commonly referred to as ecig or ecigs. There are so many different kinds in the market and it gets very confusing. I will only discuss the most popular ones. Hopefully this helps.

Almost everyone’s initial e-cig purchase is the one that resembles the real cigarette. These are called the “mini” e cig. The tip glows orange just like the real thing and its “cute” because you fool many people into thinking that you are smoking where it’s banned to smoke. Battery life is between 3-4 hours and the vapour produced is good.

There are e cigs that resemble pens. It comes in different colours and patterns. Some of the tips of this model also glow like a real cigarette. Now you also have a choice between automatic and manual battery. The manual ecig has an on and off button on the battery. You press this button when you inhale to activate the battery. The automatic model just turns on when you inhale. Battery life on this model is also between 3 to 4 hours, and the vapour produced is very good.

Now we move on to the “big boy”. The EGO battery is bigger and heavier than the “mini” ecig. It resembles a cigar in size and it comes in different colours. This powerful battery lasts from12 to 15 hours. Even though it does not look like a real cigarette, if you close your eyes, the smoking sensation feels like you are smoking a real cigarette. It is incredible!!! The vapour it produces is phenomenal. For heavy smokers and chain smokers, this is the only way to go.
